Passenger Flow of Huanghua International Airport Exceeds 500,000 by October 2

The number of entry-exit passengers of Changsha Huanghua International Airport broke 500,000 up until 19:27 of October 1, 2011. Such a passenger peak came 46 days earlier than that of last year.
Among these passengers, the mainland travelers amounted to 125,807, up 8.5% over the same period of last year. International passengers entered or exited China via Changsha Port totaled 243,607, increasing by 45.3% compared with the same period of 2010. Korea, Thailand, America, Malaysia and Australia are the top five passenger resource countries coming to Hunan. Hunan and Taiwan witnessed more frequent exchange with the opening of Changsha - Central Taiwan and Changsha- Kaohsiung chartered flights. The entry-exit Taiwan passengers at Changsha Port have hit 106,136 this year.
According to relevant chief of the Changsha Entry-Exit Inspection Station, Hunan’s increasing economic strength and fantastic tourist sites attract more international visitors for sightseeing while outbound shopping and tours have become more popular among Hunan residents, resulting in a continuous hike of passenger flow at Changsha Port.
