Thailand- Zhangjiajie Direct Tourist Charter Flight Launched

According to the Tourism Administration of Wulingyuan District in Zhangjiajie, the direct tourist charter flight from Thailand to Zhangjiajie was launched on October 15, 2011.
A total of 10 flights, one in every five days, will fly between Bangkok and Zhangjiajie. The flight departs from Bangkok at 8: 00 am, reaches Zhangjiajie at 11:50 am, and returns at 14:00 pm on the same day.
Thailand has become the second biggest overseas tourist source country, only second to Korea, for Zhangjiajia this year. Up to now, the Wulingyuan Scenic Area alone has received over 25,000 tourists from Thailand, doubling that of last year. The start of the new flight is expected to help Zhangjiajie take in over 1,500 Thailand visitors.
To further expand tourist market in Thailand, Zhangjiajie will set up local tourism flagship stores and establish a coordination committee for the undertaking there.
