Xiaohejiang Forest Park
The
park is located on the banks of the Xiaoheijiang River, 63 km from
downtown
Pu’er (formerly named Simao). The vistas inside the park feature mountains
covered by evergreens, and ever-lasting rivulets. Besides the luxuriant primeval
forests, the park has developed orchards of mango, lychee (litchi) and orange,
and tea gardens. Major tourist sites include the Puxian Temple, the Guanlin
Temple and the Jade Girl Peak (Yunvfeng) etc.
