Dongba Pantheon Park

Dongba Pantheon Park, as a state 2A-levl scenic spot, is near Yufeng Temple
 (Jade Peak Temple) at the foot of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain to the north
 of Lijiang Old Town. It embodies the traditional ethnic concepts about “worshiping
 and revering the nature” of the Naxi ethnic ancestors, and “man and nature live
 in harmony” etc.
      
Based on the primitive philosophy of the Naxi ancestors on “man and nature” and
 the perfect imagination on life and the world, Dongba Pantheon Park has been 
constructed in terms of the concepts of “Ying and Yang”, “White and Black”, and 
“Gods and Ghosts” etc. The icons and sculptures inside the park differentiate from 
those ever found elsewhere in the world, exhibiting peculiar regional cultural facts
 of Lijiang. Endowed with rich cultural connotations, the park functions well to 
 showcase Naxi Ethnic Culture both vividly and comprehensively.
