Pu'er, A Tea Producer
Pu’er
Municipality is located in the southwest of Yunnan. It borders with
Laos,
Vietnam, and Myanmar. Pu’er was an important part of the Ancient Tea and Horse
Trail and the South Silk Road. Since dominated by sub-tropical monsoon, Pu’er
exhibits superb natural conditions for tea plantation; it has been noted as one
of the major tea producers in China and is especially famed for the “Pu’er Tea”.
