"Ge Lu Shi" Firm Of Mengzi
As the most influential and long-standing
foreign firm in Mengzi City,
"Ge Lu Shi" Firm was established in 1905. It was active in hardware,
food and other merchandise and ran a small-sized hotel before its
business was shut down due to the break-off of the Yunnan-Vietnam
Railway in 1940 when Vietnam was occupied by the Japanese soldiers.
