"Ge Lu Shi" Firm Of Mengzi

As the most influential and long-standing foreign firm in Mengzi City,
 "Ge Lu Shi" Firm was established in 1905. It was active in hardware,
 food and other merchandise and ran a small-sized hotel before its
business was shut down due to the break-off of the Yunnan-Vietnam
 Railway in 1940 when Vietnam was occupied by the Japanese soldiers.

In 1938, the firm was once rented as campus by the Law School of the
 Southwest Associated University of China.
