Kouwan Surou (deep fried pork)

Since Anyang is situated in the central plains of China, the central plains people prefer light, non-greasy food; despite the fact that they sometimes try ordering various newly brought-in dishes like Sichuan, Cantonese or Northeastern. The local traditional Eight Big Bowls and deep fried pork are popular and indispensable especially for wedding banquets, funerals, or special occasions. In accordance with people’s current taste, the deep fried pork has the greatest potential for further development, as new culinary delights are cooked up all the time.
