Introduction of Hainan Lingshui

Lingshui has abundant resources for tourism including beaches, bays, islands, rain forests, waterfalls, hot springs, macaques and ostriches. Lingshui is in the southeast of Hainan Island, east to Wanning, west to Baoting, north to Qiongzhong, and south to Sanya. Diaoluo Mountain lies across the northwest of Lingshui, and the sea lies in the southeast. The county is 40km from south to north, and 32km from east to west, covering 1128 sq.km. The good location, comfortable weather, abundant resources all make Lingshui a charming tourism destination. Its natural scenic spots include Yezi Island, Xiangshui Bay, Tufu Bay, Nanwan Monkey Islet, Diaoluo Mountain Rain Forest, Xiaomei Lake. Cultural sites include Soviet Government Building, Farmers’ Committee, Nanbatian Farm, Dragon King Temple, Sanwei Temple and a street with Qing Dynasty theme. Besides, there’s Nanping Hot Spring, Gaofeng Hot Spring, Hongxie Hot Spring. Lingshui County has a beauty combining lakes, mountains, sea, with a classic and unique twist, but retaining a strong local flavor. Best Travel Season: All year round

Destination Climate: Lingshui Li Autonomous County has mild climate, sufficient sunshine and abundant rainfall. Its annual sunshine duration is 2444 hours, annual solar radiation around 130 000 calories /cm. Its average annual temperature is 24℃, and extreme maximum temperature 37℃, of tropical monsoon island-type climate. Yearly precipitation is about 1500-2500mm, but uneven in distribution. Rainy season is from May to October, precipitation in rainy season accounts for about 80% of the yearly precipitation.

Special Information:　The passenger ropeway on Nanwan Monkey Island is the longest cross-sea ropeway in China. It can provide the tourists with an overview of the old fishing village. Diaoluo Mountain National Forest Park: this scenic spot is famous for its lakes, waterfalls, and primitive rain forest. Also there’s Yezi Island, the water city in the South, Xiangshui Bay, which rivals Hawaii. Lingshui has 10 local specialties: Sour rice noodle, Pearl King, Rudd, Pipa Crab, Chicken-leg snail, coconut, betel, pepper, watermelon, banana.
