well-known both at home and abroad for its plump and bright grain; as
well as its nice, chewy texture. In recent years, the quality of the
Yuanyang rice has been greatly improved through processing. After the
polished rice of “Huangrui” brand won the gold prize of the 7th Five
Year National Spark Exposition, the polished rice of “Zhenyu” brand also
won the champion of the first National Agricultural Exposition. And in a
coup de grace, Yuanyang rice won the right to be the only rice supplier
for the Asian Sports Games.
