Wick Cake

Wick cake is a traditional non-staple food specialty of
Xiangtan. It is not only shaped like the wick, white and soft, tastes
sweet and spicy, and feels cool and aromatic, not bending when turned
into the circles, but also can be ignited by fire, emitting pure
cinnamon flavor. If you open the box, start igniting the first cake, and
continue until the last one, they can burn for 24 consecutive hours.
Wick cake is made with first-class sticky rice flour, white sugar, lard
oil, cinnamon and red thread as raw materials. Over 140 years ago,
during Xianfeng reign of the Qing Dynasty, at an exposition of national
famous and special products, wick cake of Xiangtan was evaluated as No. 1
special product; at 1915 Panama International Fair, it won praise from
representatives of all nations.
