It is a local product of special flavor made in
Luyi
County, originally made in Shilian, a town
twenty five kilometers to the west of the Luyi county town. Shiliang dog
meat is popular for its pure taste and medicinal value.
People began
to make this food as early as two thousand years ago at the end of the
Western Han Dynasty. The local folks like to eat sesame pancakes with
the dog meat, which has a special flavor and has become local famous
snack.
