Christmas Carnival to Be Staged at Changsha Window of the World
DATE:22-12-2011
A Christmas carnival will be staged at the theme park "Changsha Window of the World" on December 24.
On the occasion, Taiwan's Techno Prince Nezha dance groups will present amusing dance parade. Prince Nezha, a deity in Chinese mythology and known as a young warrior fighting demons, has long been part of the raucous performances at temple carnivals in Chinese communities.
Visitors will feed their sight on the Maogusi dance of Tujia people that has been passed on from generation to generation.
A Christmas Eve feast combining Chinese and Western styles will be served on a thousand-meter-long table, where a thousand hotpots with Western turkeys boiled among Chinese ingredients will be available.
In addition, Christmas trees, Santa Claus race, and float parade will be highlights of the carnival and glut the eyes of local people and visitors.
