Air ports: In Hunan there are two international airports (Huanghua Airport and Zhangjiajie Airport) and three domestic air ports (Changde Airport, Yongzhou Airport and Zhijiang Airport).
Changsha Huanghua International Airport
The aviation of Hunan takes Changsha as its center. Changsha Huanghua International Airport is a national class-A airport, and it is available for large and medium-size planes to land and taking off. It has opened 80 scheduled airlines and four chartered plane airlines, which lead to 56 large and middle cities in China (including Taiwan and Hong Kong) and Japan, Thailand, Korea, Singapore, Vietnam and so on. It has become a major portal for Hunan’s opening to the outside world and an important junction for civil airlines in China. Changsha Huanghua Airport has three airport terminals, Terminal A is used for all the domestic flights starting from and arriving at Huanghua, Terminal B is used for all the international flights starting from and arriving at Huanghua, Terminal C is exclusive to the flights to Guangzhou, and the arriving flights are determined according to the gate positions. Terminal A is 150 meters from Terminal B, and Terminal B is 50 meters from Terminal C.

Zhangjiajie Lotus Airport
Zhangjiajie Lotus Airport is situated at the foot of the beautiful Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie of Hunan Province, and it was open to air traffic on August 18, 1994.  Now it has opened flights to over 20 cities in China.
Public traffic
The stop of No. 4 Bus is 100 meters from the front gate of the airport. This route is a city-ring route, and it consists of Route A and Route B:
Route A: the bus starts from the airport towards the direction of Nanzhuangping, and it passes by the following stations: Airport Hotel, Ziwu Road, Beizheng Street, Xianglong International Hotel, Department Store, Bus Station, Pedestrian Street, Railway Station, Guanliping, and then it returns to the Airport
Route B: the bus starts from the airport toward the direction of Guanliping, and it passes by the following stations: Railway Station, Pedestrian Street, Bus Station, Department Store, Xianglong International Hotel, Beizheng Street, Ziwu Road, and Airport Hotel, and then it returns to the Airport.
 Prompt: This route is a ring one, before getting on the bus, you may ask the crewman which route you should take to reach your destination, and the transit station; the ticket price for No.4 bus is RMB 1; running time: 06:00 – 19:00

Passenger bus: 
From the domestic terminal to the gate, there are airport buses receiving passengers, and there are airport buses for each flight. The bus will depart whenever it is fully occupied.
