Wangsan is the nickname of Wang Shaoxian. People call him Wangsan because he is the third son of his family (in Chinese, San means “the third”). Wang’s ancestors had engaged in the restaurant business for over three hundred years. Nowadays, Wangsan has improved jiaozi-making on the basis of the traditional cooking style, earning him the name “Jiaozi King”. Wangsan jiaozi is known for its thin wrapper, and full, but not loose stuffing. Being fragrant and delicious, it is a favorite for local people.
