China Zhangjiajie International Country Music Festival (Zhangjiajie)

Country music, one type of pop music in the U.S., was originated from agricultural district in southern United States.  They were originally songs sung by villagers living in that area. After development, it becomes popular all over the world. Country music referred to in this event is folk music arts from all over the world with prominent ethnic features, and various forms of expression.
Zhangjiajie is World Natural Heritage, and also the cradle of ethnic and folk music arts. The international platform of country music established in Zhangjiajie aims to integrate professional and folk country music, show local music all over the world and perform communication, so as to continue and develop country music arts, and promote cultural development of all nationalities all over the world. The event aims to, upon three to five sessions, gradually develop International Country Music Week into a permanent international country music festival, and build Zhangjiajie into an international brand of country music and sacred land of country music.
