D1:Zhengzhou
In the morning, go sightseeing to Henan Museum, one of the four
largest museums in China; at noon, visitors can enjoy the food with
local flavors.
In the afternoon, go sightseeing to the Yellow River Scenic Spot in
the north of Zhengzhou, including climbing Mangshan hill to watch the
Yellow River, drifting on the Yellow River by hovercraft; at night,
tourists can have a good time in Yingxie Garden in Zhengzhou, they can
enjoy the wide noodles with mutton, a local flavor, and watch the
Shaolin martial arts show as well as the local opera of Henan. (staying
in Zhengzhou at night)
D2:Zhengzhou-Kaifeng
In the morning, visitors go to Kaifeng and visit the Qingming
Shanghe Garden (in the style of the Song Dynasty), Dragon Pavilion; at
noon, visitors can enjoy the famous local snack, steamed Baozi (a kind
of dumpling); in the afternoon, go sightseeing to the Iron Pagoda,
Kaifeng Fu (the site of Ancient Kaifeng Government Office), Memorial
Temple of Lord Bao or Xiangguo Temple, Shan-Shaan-Gan Guildhall. At
night, visitors can go to the night market to try local snacks. (staying
in Kaifeng city at night).
D3:Kaifeng-Xinzheng-Dengfeng
In the morning, visitors take a tour to the native place of
Huangdi, the Yellow Emperor named Xuanyuan, the ancestor of Chinese
people and an ancestor-worshipping ceremony is to be held; at noon,
visitors can have a lunch with local flavors; in the afternoon, visitors
go to the historical site of Zheng and Han States (in the period of the
Warring State Period), the grand tomb of an emperor of Zheng State and
the Museum of ancient tombs of Zheng State, then leave for Dengfeng.
(staying in Dengfeng city at night).
D4: Dengfeng-Luoyang
In the morning, visitors go to Astronomical Observatory in
Dengfeng, the oldest one in the world, and Buddhist Pagoda in Songyue
Temple; in the afternoon, tourists go to Shaolin Temple in Songshan,
Pagoda Forest- tombs of monks and watch the Shaolin martial arts show,
then leave for Luoyang (the capital of nine Dynasties). (stay in Luoyang
at night).
D5: Luoyang-Zhengzhou
In the morning, visitors go to Longmen Grottoes and Lord Guan's
Memorial Temple (Guan Yu, a famous general at the end of the Han
Dynasty); at noon, food of Luoyang flavor is served (stay in Zhengzhou
city at night).
D6:visitors leave Zhengzhou.
