Yangzong Lake Holiday Zone is located in
Yiliang’s Yangzong Lake
between Kunming and the Stone Forest, about 30 kilometers away from
the downtown of Kunming. The lake is 1,770 meters above the sea
level and covers an area of some 30 square kilometers. “Yangzong”
is derived from “Qiangzong Tribe” who lived here in Dali Kingdom
Period (937-1253) of the Song Dynasty (960-1279).
