An'ning City Museum


















An’ning is a county-level city under jurisdiction of Kunming.
 It is 30 km west from Kunming downtown. An’ning City Museum was
established on the former site of An’ning Confucian Temple in
October 2000. Originally erected in the 6th year (1302) of Dade
Period in the Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368), An’ning Confucian Temple
 was listed in 2006 by the State Council of PRC as a state-level
 historical and cultural site.
Exhibition Halls
(1)-Historical Relics Hall: Bronze wares of the West Han Dynasty,
 potteries of the Tang Dynasty, and tin wares of Wu Sangui’s
Family in the Qing Dynasty;
(2)-Historical Ruins Hall: displaying the historical ruins of
 An’ning in the form of pictures;
(3)-Production Tools Hall: Traditional farming tools of An'ning;
(4)-Folk Handicrafts Hall: Embroideries, paper-cuts and sculptures
 etc.
