The Hanging Bridge

The Hanging Bridge

The Nujiang Grand Canyon in Northwest Yunnan is flanked by lofty mountains
of Biluo and Gaoligong, both of which boast with towering peaks and
 precipitous crags.
Since ancient times, the unfavourable traffic conditions have urged locals
to cross over the torrential Nujiang River (or Nu River) by ferries, pulleyed
 ropes and hanging bridges.

Crossing the river in a thrilling way
It's thrilling, but locals have to, to cross the roaring Nujiang River on a

pulleyed cable.
