Bloom Ball Snatch

       In March, during the Third Folk Song Festival, the most exciting activity is the Bloom Ball Snatch. Strong men from every village are be organized into groups to take part in the competition. So-called Bloom Balls are actually iron rings with a diameter of about 5cm covered in red cloth, which is shot it to the sky. When the bloom ball drops, each group rushes forward to snatch it like a rugby game.
