“Beautiful China—Tour to Minority Areas in the Southwest” Promotional Event Held in France

On June 25 and 26, the CNTA promotional event themed “Beautiful China—Tour to Minority Areas in the Southwest” continued in Bordeaux and Paris, France. Mr. Pedro of Deputy Mayor Bordeaux, Counsellor Wan Li of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in France, Secretary-General Mr. Balandraux of French National Travel Advisory Office attended the events in Bordeaux and Paris and delivered speeches respectively. Also present at the events were over 200 persons, including Secretary-General Mr. Pharasman of French Tourism Businessman Federation, Director Mr. Martin of Bordeaux Tourism Bureau, as well as representatives from local tourism institutions, airlines, and media as well as some tourists.
At the promotional conference held in Bordeaux, Deputy Mayor Mr. Pedro of Milan, said that Bordeaux attracts a growing number of Chinese tourists with its unique cultural tourism resources; as a sister city of Dalian, Bordeaux has also made active efforts to assist Dalian in China-Dalian International Wine & Dine Festival and varied activities held in other places in China. He also expressed his belief that the mutual exchanges between the two cities will inject new vitality to promote two-way tourism.
