Shengjing Pass

Shengjing Pass, known as “the first pass to enter Yunnan”, is
the most important passage between Central China and Yunnan since
the Yuan Dynasty (1206-1368). Shengjing Pass is also the boundary
 of climates. Local saying goes: “maintains and ridges divide
 Yunnan and Guizhou, while Yunnan and Guizhou provinces are
geographically told by wind and rain”. Major tourist draws
include Shengjing Archway of Southern Yunnan, Shengjing Dak,
Guan’ai Pavilion, Shilong Ancient Temple, Yuqin Stele, Ancient
 Passage, and Ancient Fort etc.
