Fengqing Shidong (Stone Cave) Temple

Fengqing Shidong (Stone Cave) Temple

Shidong (Stone Cave) Temple is located in Qingtou, a Yi Township about
30 kilometers southeast from Fengqing County seat (Lincang Municipality).
It was originally erected in 1794 and consists of five buildings and
eleven rooms. The temple impresses people with its arm-span camellia
and two pavilions constructed on two giant rocks that are connected
by an arched bridge. It’s recorded that the two pavilions were between
1848 to 1853, thus enjoying a history of nearly 200 hundred years.
