Fish Boundary Rock (Yujieshi)

Fish Boundary Rock (or Fish Demarcation Rock), Jieyushi in Chinese,
is a scenic spot in the middle of Yudai River that connects Fuxian
 Lake and Xingyun Lake.
It is not known yet that when the name started to exist. As recorded
 in historical documents, as early as the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911)
the name Jieyushi was used. In the 3rd year of Guangxu Period of the
 Qing Dynasty, wealthy men around Yudai River raised funds to build
Guanyin Temple near Jieyushi which reached certain a large scale
through renovations in the following decades. In April 2001, Yuxi
Municipal Government listed it as a key historical and cultural site.

The rock is 6.3 high and 5.4 wide with uneven surface and numerous
small holes. Around the rock, there are a number of stone tablets
inscribed with essays about Jieyushi.
