Zhuang's Riding on Windmills

Riding on Windmills
The Zhuang refer to windmill riding simply as playing. Teams of four or eight people hold onto the wooden vanes of the windmill four meters high up the framework. Each one who turns to the ground pushes hard with his feet to keep the windmill running. While going up to the top of the windmill, the more courageous ones even revolve like gymnasts on a horizontal bar. The winner will be the team that makes the windmill rotate the most times in a fixed period of time.
