The 15th China • Meizhou Mazu Culture and Tourism Festival Inaugurated on November 1

In the morning of November 1, the 15th China • Meizhou Mazu Culture and Tourism Festival was inaugurated in the Square of Queen of Heaven, Mazu Temple in Meizhou, the birthplace of the Goddess of Sea.

The Opening Ceremony was attended by Mr. Zhang Kehui, Vice Chairman of the 10th National Committee of CPPCC and Chairman of Chinese Mazu Cultural Exchange Association, Mr. Lin Zhaoshu, member of the 11th National Committee of CPPCC, former Chairman of All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and Vice Chairman of Chinese Mazu Cultural Exchange Association, Mr. Jiang Yaoping, Vice Chairman of Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits, Mr. Yang Yizhou, Vice Chairman of All China Taiwanese Association, Mr. Chen Rongchun, Vice Chairman of the 8th Fujian Provincial Committee of CPPCC, Madam Zhu Hua, Director General Of Fujian Provincial Tourism Bureau, Mr. Jiang Erxiong, Chairman of Fujian Provincial Taiwanese Association, leaders of Putian City, Mr. Lin Guangda, Mr. Lin Qingsheng and Mr. Lai Jun, Mr. Lin Guoliang, Executive Vice Chairman of Chinese Mazu Cultural Exchange Association, Mr. Zheng Mingkun, Chairman of Taiwan Mazu Fellowship and Vice BOD Chairman of Dajia Zhenn Lann Temple, Taichung of Taiwan, and over 10,000 Mazu believers from both home and abroad.
