The lucky winners of the Xishuangbanna riding-tour knowledge competition visited Xishuangbanna primitive forest park, located 8 kilometers east of Jinghong City, on October 24, 2013. Winners visited a number of sights in the park in a healthy and environmentally friendly way as they traversed terrain by bicycle. Whilst wandering through the forests, visitors can take in the unique natural scenery and charming views of Xishuangbanna.
Xishuangbanna Primitive Forest Park, which covers an area of 25,000 acres, features some of the best preserved tropical rainforest valleys south of the tropic of cancer. Among the fifty spots which have made Xishuangbanna into the nation's largest comprehensive ecological tourism location, the area's peacock breeding base, the large ethnic customs performance field and Aini village are some of the best sites on offer.
During the visit to the Primitive Forest Park, Russian and Eastern European tourists visited the Hani ethnic customs show village - Aini village �C and got to experience the water-splashing festival of the Dai minority. They were also lucky enough to see unique tropical rainforest valleys as well as the park's peacock breeding base.
I regularly ride in in over 80 degree weather, often to over 100 degrees.. I wear s/s jersey, padded shorts and helmet. Drinks lots of water bus from New York to atlanta must visit tis site also...
