March Third Song Festival

      During the third month of the lunar calendar, the Song Festival of the Zhuang Minority is held. It is a time when Zhang people dress up, sing folk songs, cook sticky rice, and paint eggs to celebrate. For two or three days, the singing fields are bustling with up-to ten thousand people, all singing and dancing and courting potential partners.
