Nanmei, A Lahu Ethnic Village

Nanmei, A Lahu Ethnic Village

Nanmei Lahu Village is 48 km from the local council of Linxiang District,
Lincang Municipality. It features stilted houses, ancient tales told from
generation to generation, delicious green food and the aromatic Lahu
King Wine etc.
Lahu minority spend assorted festivals such as the Spring Festival, Patron
God Festival, Bridging Festival and Brightness Festival (Qingming Festival)
etc. During the Bridging Festival, many visitors come to enjoy the
celebrations with local people. With flaming bonfires and accompanied by
the melodious Lusheng (a kind of musical instrument made from reed pipes),
you can get refreshed by enjoying the primitive and unconstrained local
 singing and dancing.
