Jiaoye Park Of Kunming

Jiaoye Park Of Kunming

Jiaoye Park is located beside Qiongzhu Temple (The Bamboo Temple) on Yu’an
Mt. (Jade Table Mt.) in the west suburb of Kunming. The park is endowed with
lush vegetation, mountain springs, waterfalls and ponds. More than 3,000
peach trees have already become the famous scenery of spring. In March, it
is the best place to witness “spring on the branches of red almond trees,”
when all sorts of flowers blossom. In this park, one has the opportunity of
a birds-eye view of the city of Kunming. A special memorial has been erected
for the Hump Flights during the World War II, which makes the park the destination
of former members of Flying Tigers, and especially those from the USA.
