Passengers Take Photos with Taiwan High-speed Cartoon Train on the First Trip
On 21st, 300 people from disadvantaged families recommended by the Good Shepherd Foundation and Children Are Us Foundation was invited to take the high-speed cartoon train on its first trip. Accompanied by cartoon dolls, they played bingo, drew pictures, and overwhelmed the train with laughter and cheer.
A webpage was designed for the “Happy Cartoon Train” to publish the schedule of this special train every Monday so that fans can follow it. The cartoon train runs five to eight trips per day. In Compartment 7, there is a Happy Delivery Station where cartoon postcards and commemorative stamps are offered free of charge; children may also get small gifts on at the station.
The new train was hit several times on the first day. Blood was found on the face of the cartoon character “Abao” painted on the train when it arrived at the terminal station. According to high-speed railway authorities, it might be bird crashes, and further investigation will be carried out soon.
