The water dance, which is the top highlight of the evening show, started again following the performance during Dragon Boat Festival. Varied “butterflies” produced by CNC three-dimensional water formation technology rose up and dance in the sky the moment the famous Butterfly Lovers Music flows out, displaying the whole love story of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai. This performance was most warmly welcomed by the audience.

As one of the three highlights of the evening show, the international carnivals are going to be presented by performers from seven countries, including India, the US, Arabia, Russia and three other countries. Two rounds will be staged starting from 19:30. It is said that Cuba has brought authentic Latin dance, the US shows hot hip-pop dance; belly dance from Arabia showcases unique culture of the Middle East, while traditional dance of Russia, the penetrating rhythm of African drums, as well as classic Samba will bring to life the special charm of different countries and cultures in the world.
The parade, which is the signature performance of the expo, follows the first carnival during the evening show and last for 50 minutes, presenting dynamic hip-hop, fashion show, forest dances and other programs. Equipped with various lanterns, the floats and costumes are dynamic.
The landscape sculpture “Perfect Match” created by Jean-Jacques Lanzo from French Liquidesign stands on the plaza near Gate 3 of the Garden Expo site, inspired by the image of a willow, the sculpture has willow as its frame. Bead curtains were added to display the branches and tendrils of willows, and the sculpture looks like two abstract willows echo each other at a distance on the whole. The light sketches “Let’s Get Married” on the Chongqing Park Plaza to the south of the main axis of Gate 5 looks like two swans with bowed heads, takes the shape of a heart. With the views of Yongding Tower in distance, it is named as “Lifelong Match” by netizens, and therefore, attracts a great number of couples to take photos here.
