Wudang exhibition area popular at tourism expo

The exhibition area for Wudang Mountain was the most popular area at the 2012 Central China Tourism Exposition.

Around 300 volunteers and exhibitors provided careful service and explanations for the visitors, with some from the Wudang Kungfu art troupe.

During the exposition, the Wudang exhibition area attracted nearly 100,000 visitors. Visitors arrived at the exhibition area to watch the Kungfu show and the Wudang Mountain photography exhibition.

The total area of the Wudang exposition stand is 1,600 square meters, occupying 10 percent of the 15,000-square-meter exhibition hall, the largest in the 2012 Central China Tourism Exhibition. The interesting activities in the exhibition area of Wudang Mountain includes Wudang Kungfu show and Wudang Mountain landscape photography exhibition. Moreover, the movie Big Wudang debuted in the exhibition area.

CCTV, Hubei Daily, China Tourism News, Ta Kung Pao and more than 50 other media reported the movie's debut and expanded the popularity of Wudang Mountain. 　

This year is the 600 anniversary of the development of Wudang Mountain. The exposition gave a big chance to Wudang to enlarge its influence in Hubei tourism and attract more tourists.
